Jose P. of Intel has said that new Radio Access Network (RAN) will be about 90% –to-95% of CAPEX. He does not break that down in terms of base stations and subscriber equipment, because it varies depending on the cell size, i.e. macro cells vs pico cells.

The other 5%-to-10% of CAPEX will be in Core IP Network Equipment, which Cisco is selling to greenfield carriers.
