I saw that you can help to find WiMAX OEM solutions. I'm interested in knowing prices of WiMAX OEM modems, either 802.16e or 802.16d for purchasing purposes. I can find basestations and subsriber stations but it's being hard to find OEM board with a complete solution (not development kits that are configurable like Fujitsu has, I mean a OEM WiMAX modem that could be installed in a SS for instance).
Can you help me?
Sorry to write on your wall, I don't know how to send a private message.
Dear Benson,
I am an MSc student, and I have a project on WiMAX.
If you could help me to explain what is different between Hard HandOver, Soft HandOver and Fast HandOver. Also how I can implement the following equation with two(i,j) variables in Matlab that I want to simulate a Fast Hand Over in WiMAX.
X=sum(T1+sum( T2(i,j)))
The first sum index i=1:4
The sum (T2)index is from j=1:Mi
M=[1,2,3,4]
i=[1,2,3,4]
T2=15*rand(1,1)+15
T1=10*rand(1,1)
Thank you in advance
Regards,
Tony

I take this opportunity to introduce Polaris Networks. www.polarisnetworks.net. Polaris has a long lineage of working with wireless technologies (WiMAX, Wi-Fi, RFID, wireless LAN, ATCA etc) in making test tools and protocol stacks, along with embedded software development and providing consultancy services.
Polaris is working with WiMAX technology for the last 4 years and has contributed significantly in making a PCT tester. We are providing testing services for WiMAX devices and consultancy services for WiMAX (both 16d and 16e). We are in the process of setting up a WiMAX Pre-Certification Lab in India.
