At that frequency it will have some problems penetrating building materials. Window-mount antennae will work, as will external antenna, and indoor antennae near a window but you will get a shorter range or lower modulation. Having a terminal with MIMO is also a big advantage. Freedom4 in the UK get reception through trees and behind buildings with MIMO at about that frequency.

Hi Gibran. The spectrum should be fine as long as it is co-ordinated with any other networks. What specific problems are you having with planning? Rolling out a WiMAX network is far from easy and involves considerably more cost than a wi-fi network.

Nice to meet you. Did you file for you nation wide license yet? Next would be to pick your tower or building site. I like to put our stuff 300 to 600ft off the ground.
Then do a radio propagation model to confirm its a good choice. Then Pick your vendor based on your applications requirements and your project goals and jump in and spend the cash, and build it.... Contact me offline for some refined guidance....
