You should check the website of ET Industries. http://www.etiworld.com/ They are the only system of which I am aware that is completely "agnostic" to either the air interface or the gear being deployed.

Peter, In the U.S. there is 50 MHz of spectrum but everyone is currently approved as restricted for service in the bottom 25 MHz of spectrum only. Three weeks ago AirSpan became the first company approved as unrestricted for use of the entire 50 MHz…

We have had the same experience so far as Jawad. We have tested both G.729 and G.711. Jitter is consistent with no packet loss or minimal and MOS scores are excellent.

we were planning to use same Aperto in Mexico. I can say that Aperto's representative was very responsive to all our requests, giving us honest answers. Their only problem in February this years was that they were expecting mobile WiMAX equipment to have in June. It looks to me that you are going for fixed WiMAX at this moment?
We did not started, yet, with our project in Mexico, but I do have some knowledge about Aperto. It would be also interesting in hearing your impressions. You can contact me on my personal e-mail dejan.vujic.etf@gmail.com.
