Company Description
Mentum was launched on June 18, 2007 when CTS Holdings, originator of the Ellipse wireless backhaul planning and optimization product suite acquired the Planet EV wireless network planning product line from Ericsson.
Our roots trace directly back to the world’s first RF planning tool: MSI Planet in 1992. While our corporate name may have changed we retain the culture of excellence that made Mobile Systems International a category creator...and dominator.
Our customers have responded positively to Mentum since its inception. We serve 250 global customers, including large operators such as Sprint, Mobile TeleSystems, MTS Ukraine and Celtel, as well as new entrants on the latest OFDM technologies such as Inukshuk.

Why are you interested in WiMAX?
Planet is the leading radio planning tool for WiMAX and is the tool I work on every day of my life. Mentum is committed to further improve its WiMAX capabilities as the technology evolves and I hence have a very keen interest in this area, as I do in all areas of wireless mobile networks.
