Samsung WIBRO(mobile wimax) into Japan ( news clip ) Mar05 2008
Samsung said yesterday that it has agreed with UQ Communications Inc. of Japan to provide equipment and facilities to establish the WiBro network.
UQ Communications, a consortium led by Japan`s second-largest mobile carrier KDDI, plans to start a test service in Tokyo and Yokohama in February next year. It plans to launch the commercial service around next summer… Continue

Polaris has a long lineage of working with wireless technologies (WiMAX, Wi-Fi, RFID, wireless LAN, ATCA etc) in making test tools and protocol stacks, along with embedded software development and providing consultancy services.
