Hi ICS Telecom is one of the ATDI product. You can find more details in http://www.atdi.com/. There are many propagation models readily to use in the software. Usually I used ITU 525 with combination of Deygout 94 diffraction models. This model i...

Thanks Feras, Are you using the SUI model? Did you find it easy or difficult to tune the model? What did you use for drive test equipment to collect the data? Were you able to tune by clutter class or simply by distance? I have used Planet in th...

It's been a while since I've posted here. I'd like to know what prediction tools people are using and what has been your experience, easy to use, hard to use, expensive, accurate, etc. Thanks in advance

Hello Ted,

I hope you must be doing good. Im WiMAX RF engineer and my company has launched WiMAX on commercial scale. I am planning to develop my own in house optimization tool. One major idea that i can now discuss with you is that, i have SSH access to all the commercially deployed CPEs, in case of a complaint after the support and analysis of level 3 team the case is refered to me.I can log inot the CPEs remotely and analyze the WAN level traces to actually pinpoint where actually the problem is. This ll help me in realtime monitoring the stats. I need some ideas from you, Chalking down WiMAX key KPIs and optimization ideas would be of great help. I ll really appreciate any nugget recieved from you. Looking forward. My email address is:

our business plan allows our companies to deploy wide spectrums in remote areas and inner city areas, and over these spectrums we supply I.P related services that other telcos in australia and new zealnd have tried to do so in the past but failed due to support and bad inferstructure.
where we pic up large contracts is by designing central headends for multiple sites and this eliminates the need for each site to have a seperate head end for each service.

please let me know your interest and where you would like to take it.
