Hi SatheshKumar, I appreciate you for the reply. We got the license of 3.5 Ghz. And currently on 1st phase we are planning Fixed wimax internet service. and second phase later only Mobile Wimax. Also we are planing to implement Web world on the same 1st phase. We would like to implement in two Major cities and a coverage of 10 to 20 Kms.

For 16QAM operation you will need good CINR (above 25dB), in a urban NLOS environment, the range will be around 1km. For near LOS environment, I would expect the range of 1-2km depending on the surrounding clutters. WiMAX signals love reflection and work well in this environment.
