this is new technology by some vendors like zte with name SDR
in SDR technology the radio unit is transfferd to tower and called RRU
TOTALY in this solution no need to any shelter

The radio for the WiMax multi-point source should be behind the antenna not in the shelter.

Well we do our best to provide the Afghan People and International Organizations as well with quality and reliable Internet connectivity using WiMAX as our back end technology. Definitely WiMAX360 will provide me wide range of information more so expanding my network.
Progress and expansion in the telecommunication industry here in Afghanistan is moving forward - other that WiMAX and other traditional Microwave access, i heard that fiber has been rolled out but not sure of the coverage. From our sister company AWCC they have just recently release Black Berry Service and their on going GPRS.

However the greatest frenzy has been launched by LTE camp so we will have to wait and see what LTE eventually goes thru as it goes thru similar development cycles that Wimax went through 2004 till todate.
What is expected is that International markets especially APAC, MENA & most of all India will create a very large presence.
