Everything you need to know about WiMAX

Check out the real 3.65Ghz WiMAX Look Up tool at:

http://zing.naviciti.com/

Explanation:

If you are looking to deploy WiMAX gear in the 3.65GHz Range in the United Sates, by now you've heard of the Exclusion / Permission zones.

The problem we found was that there was no quick, easy way to do a look up a by zip or city name or GPS cord to see where your tower or building was within "the zones"

Also there was no quick way to predict, if you would have to negotiate with one, two or even more Ground Based Satellite Operators, in oder to power up that 3.65GHz gear.

This is our "Free" Solution to the above mentioned problems.

Directions:

1. Once the page has loaded, type in a United States Zipcode, city name or GPS cord into the search bar, then the web app will drill down to that specific region.
2. Then navigate and confirm your proposed site.
3. Then go up to the map controls at the top an select "show radius" (be patient the polygons are a bit heavy"
4. Then using the zoom out button, for as many clicks as needed , you can begin to see where the proposed site is in relation to the Ground based Satellite operators in the area.
5. Then you can mouse over the the Satellite Operator or Operators that cover your proposed deployment and get their Name on Contact info to start your negotiations.
6. Once you have Identified the Ground Based Satellite Operators in your area and copied their contact info, you will need to talk with them about their foot print as it may not cover the entire 150Km
7. Good Luck!

Release Notes:

So far its been tested on IE and Firefox on Windows, OS X and Fedora

The radii dimensions are scale to the FCC's rule of 150km

Once you have Identified the Ground Based Satellite Operators in your area and copied their contact info, you will need to talk with them about their foot print as it may not cover the entire 150Km circle.
